Week 2

This week, Janine’s program theme is Splashy Fables and Fairy Tales!

This week during Janine’s programs we will learn about and read fables and fairy tales.  We will also make the Frog Prince (pictured above), and play Statues!

 

To make the Frog Prince at home you will need:

Green construction paper (1 sheet/child)

Red construction paper (cut into long rectangles – 1/child)

White paper (cut into small circles – 2/child)

Kleenex boxes

Glue

Scissors

Markers

Pencils

Instructions:

Draw two arms, and two long legs on the green construction paper

Trace two big circles on the white construction paper

Cut out arms and circles

Draw black circles (pupils) into white circles

Glue eyes on the top of the box

Fold legs in accordion style

Glue arms on the side of the box

Glue legs on the bottom of the box

Roll up red construction paper (tongue)

Glue tongue to mouth (slit of box)
